CHARITY – Five Star Annual Holiday Charity Event
In the spirit of the holidays, Five Star holds an annual charity. Five Star Management matches dollar for dollar of money raised. All funds are distributed to local charities.
2023: $2,200 was raised by Five Star Employees. $4,400 was split between the local food pantry and the Sharing Center.
ENVIRONMENT – Five Star Commitment to Reduction of Carbon Footprint
Reducing landfill waste and carbon emissions are among the top priorities at Five Star.
In 2023 Five Star Thermoforming recycled 422,290 pounds of plastic by internally recycling and reusing scrap plastics.
HEALTH & SAFETY – Five Star Commitment to Health & Safety
Five Star feels strongly about keeping employees and the community safe. By providing regular certification in CPR and emergency medical response to a large group of employees, Five Star ensures the best possible outcome in any emergency.
In 2023, 32 employees were trained and certified.
EDUCATION – Five Star Dedication to Inspiring Educational Growth
Five Star is committed to both its employees and its customers by providing on the job training, tuition reimbursement, contracted and external training, and leadership training opportunities.
